Green Chilli
Green Chili refers to the unripe fruit of various Capsicum species, and is often used in cooking to add a fresh, sharp heat to dishes. While similar to red chilies in flavor, green chilies tend to have a slightly milder and more tangy taste when compared to their ripe counterparts. They are commonly used in many cuisines, including Indian, Mexican, Thai, and Korean, both fresh and in pickled forms. Green chilies are often sliced and added to curries, salsas, stir-fries, and salads. They are also a good source of vitamins, especially vitamin C, and contain capsaicin, which is known for its metabolism-boosting and anti-inflammatory properties.
