Lemon Leaves

Lemon Leaves

Lemon Leaves, often from the lemon tree (Citrus limon), are glossy, deep green leaves with a subtle citrus aroma that’s more delicate than lemongrass or lime leaves. They're used in cooking to infuse dishes with a gentle lemony fragrance, particularly in Mediterranean, Southeast Asian, and Indian cuisines. Typically added whole and removed before serving, lemon leaves are ideal for wrapping grilled foods, flavoring curries, or simmering in soups and teas. While not commonly eaten directly, their aromatic oils elevate both sweet and savory dishes with a refreshing, citrusy depth.
